Beautiful river to kayak midweek during the fall. Tons of wildlife. Gorgeous float. 1st time I have ever seen wild otters. Awesome. Stayed at the Alton hotel very rustic but clean and cheap at $50 a night.

This river holds MANY special memories for me and maybe I'm partial? BUT, I've floated so many rivers in the USA and this one is, hands down, my favorite. It's spring fed which means that even in 100 degree days, it feels like you're floating...More

The Eleven Point river is a wilderness river. Wild and awesome. I fish - floated the river last year. Unfortunately the river was up (mildly flooded) so the fishing was off, but in a couple of weeks I will go back to the trophy waters...More
