Winter = dry and mosquito free

No mosquitoes and low water levels make it a great dry-footed, winter hike. Just wear orange blaze during hunting dates and enjoy!

No mosquitoes and low water levels make it a great dry-footed, winter hike. Just wear orange blaze during hunting dates and enjoy!

We have had good hikes here. I am not sure if bikes are allowed but it could be a nice place to mountain bike. One aggravation is where the Florida Trail 'breaks' on the road, from one side to the other, so that there is not as much continuity as there could be... Maybe people walk or bike across the... More

I love this swamp. It has all the critters you would expect - gators snakes wild boars bugs and birds. If your looking for a great swamo this is the one. Bring your boots and bug spray.
