Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Yes! I had an interview for startup company in March! Yesterday I received a job offer but everything in Silicon Valley is so expensive.

A visit to Silicon Valley is a must. The center of Web3 and social media discovery by the technological giants. We went on a Sunday. It was quiet and we drove around to see the area and development in that region. We drove down to silicon Valley, but tours are available!
There were no human beings as such going in and out of the office buildings. But, don't be fooled, because big brother surveillance was all over the place. It felt like machines were dominating the space invasion. Must visit!!

We live in the area and often visit Silicon Valley Its the home of leading edge technology companies.
However with the virus, its been somewhat of a ghost town. Large to mid size to small size corporate buildings being completely empty as people stay home to work. Its been like that now since March.
The good news is that one can drive easily on most roads such as 237. The construction teams are working hard on some road projects during this time.
So if you visit Silicon Valley, you will see the area, but its an oddity right now and looks like a ghost town.

We have lived in Silicon Valley for many years. its usually the hub of activity where there are many technology companies. Roads are usually full; restaurants are full; people are having fun.
But this is April 2020 - and its virus time Its very deserted. One can drive any where quickly. Its so different sort of like a ghost town due to shelter in place.
The new Google Buildings - construction has stopped. They are interesting to see however as one of the major building projects currently taking place in Silicon Valley.
We also went to see the Google Androids in the past.

In these past new decades. my soldiers have been slaughtered. man made men, are no, no longer agents. this chorus I am on my own. I am no longer on my own. other armies slaying bigger truths. no more forging weapons as ornament. bought the dying the worth less. drawing old lines in new land. me and you will see we ain't playing. stand up for the home feed. on our throne we will bleed. Stand up for our true need. This unjust mirror. this mirror of our soul. however do we want us? however do we need us?reflection beyond controle. lift up our voices. if is this depiction. this must be us.

Looked impressive from the outside. If only they allow visitors to enter which would be great. Need to know someone to enter. Oh well

While there is much more to do in SF, in Silicon Valley you can drive by Facebook, Google & even stop in the the Apple Store at the old Apple HQ. Bike Riding is great, hiking fantastic, we have a handful of great Restaurants (Plumed Horse, Dio Deka)... Otherwise not many big dawg places to visit like in SF. Enjoy & note the Bay Area has 3 Projects that cost over a $1,000,000, without Googling it, can you name them?

FB headquarters is so nicely laid out right off highway and bordering local Menlo Park community and Bay. It was Thanksgiving day so we were able to stroll down the street and lived layout, parking on ground level with complimentary bikes/helmets for staff, gated access to buildings which all seem connected, third floor has trees and appears to be park. I would of loved to go inside, not sure if they offer tours? Beautiful landscaping with bike paths.

Hi! I'm hoping to visit a number of places in a short amount of time whilst in the area. I would like to visit the Facebook campus, Googleplex and NASA Ames Research center mainly with some others on the way possibly, within a day or two. I know the first two are literally just photo ops but coming all the way from the UK, this is enough for us! We would like to know the easiest way of getting around the area? I'm a hesitant driver and have never driven abroad but am willing to if it would otherwise be difficult to get to these locations via public transport. We fly into San Francisco airport and are hoping to stay in the Palo Alto or Mountain View area for a couple of days before heading back north. Any tips/advice would be great, thanks!

Hello... we are planning to go to San Francisco and visit Silicon valley. I would like to know if it is accessible to go to Facebook or Google campus as non employee or if there are any tours to do inside of the companies. If so, is there any website where we can check it out or book the tour respectively? Thanks a lot for info!!

You will not be able to enter the buildings and be taken around unless you know an employee who can sign you in as a guest. The tech companies do not offer tours as they are work places. You can visit the campus' and take photos of the buildings and signs. Apple does have a "visitor center" but it's really an Apple Store.

Did you know employees at Facebook and Google? How were you able to get into the buildings/go on tour? Thanks

I am travelling alone for few days to San Francisco in Feb 2016 and I am very keen to see the Silicon Valley during my visit (e.g. Google, LinkedIn, eBay & Stanford campuses, etc.) Unfortunately there seem to be not many organized tours/trips.
I would appreciate your help guys if you can suggest either a day tour company or alternatively how I can organize it by myself.
