Wonderful safe beach wide with white sand, then gently drops off.easy access into the water. Safe for children if they are watched saw a couple of youngsters whose parents were not watching then. Great for snorkling, takes about 25 minutes to walk from one end...More

Private, only to be used by hotel guests. Brilliant, clean, free water sports , life guard on duty daily, safety flag flying. Lovely walk along the shoreline, takes about 10/15minutes Great for snorkelling

Gorgeous beach with a quick drop off. Very relaxing and quiet. Great for a stroll each morning. Sol Riu and Paradisso great places to stay along the beach with two beach bar restaurants

Long, wide, sandy beach. Never crowded. Beautiful sunsets. Generally calm and shallow. Some reefs within easy distance for snorkeling.

I spent the day here to compare it to Guardalavaca Beach. It’s a nice fine white coral sand. Nice strolling beach. But there is a lagoon near one section and it smells of decaying organic material. I wouldn’t want to be staying in that section....More

Playa Esmeralda is one of the nicest beaches I've ever visited. What I liked most was the water colour as well as the fact that it was never crowded.

This is one of the best beaches in Cuba. It is very long and one of the widest beaches, which is often overlooked. There is plenty of shade at the Sol Luna side and great snack bars. Don't forget the hike at the nature park...More
