When I visited this place I felt dreadfully. The energy there is disturbing, due to the witchcraft that takes place there. Terrible. Beware, if you are spiritually sensitive, do not go there!

More of a museum than a real Santeria temple this place is beautifully kept and a rare opportunity for a tourist to get a close look (if somewhat sanitized I assume) at an intriguing religion.

If you have done a little research this location is helpful in understanding this amalgamation of an African religion and Catholicism

Santeria is a Cuban religion. The house is sparcely furnished with any indicators that would explain the religion further.

We came across this unusual baby doll in the centre of the room by accident will walking around the streets.Without any explanation, about this religion, we found it a bit disconcerting. Maybe a plaque explain the significance of a lone baby doll in the centre of a big room would shed some light on this place.

The very idea of a Santeria temple is somewhat contradictory. Still, there it is. A small, 2-room temple with a strange looking doll in each. Certainly worth a look as you're sure to pass by it anyway. Nothing spectacular to be seen, though.

A little temple without much explanation. Just another superstition, but without the great architecture of the more widely practiced ones.

A fabulous learning experience to see what this religion is all about. We sat and listened to the guide explaining the church and its foundations, and I witnessed the "head priest" giving advice from outside a window to a person inside a room, who was on the floor, making some kind of "confession". It was very primitive, even for an anthropology... More
