To have a good cocktail while listening to music from end of the afternoon to the night. Very crowded but this adds to the charm

An outdoor music venue, you get a real feel for authentic Cuban culture in both music and dance. Great any time of day, you can pop down for a few minutes or sit there for hours. Do not miss in Trinidad!

Fantastic evening of salsa and great cocktails! It was very busy but there were still places to sit and the staff were super helpful!

At the recommendation of our tour guide, we checked out Casa de la Musica one evening while in Trinidad. Music plays until the early hours; we paid the $1 CUC cover charge and got a table right in front of the stage. We got there around 8ish on a Wednesday night and stayed for a couple hours, listening to a... More

One of the main venues for live music and salsa. Open-air venue with most of the seating on amphitheatre-style steps. Also seating at café-style tables. Cover charge of 2 CUC. Drink prices are reasonable. Good music gets the salsa officionados on their feet. They also have other dance acts between bands. Toilets filthy (and subject to a charge) - this... More

This is something to do at night in Trinidad, as there's not much night life. The music is good and it's great for people watching sitting on the steps. Note there's a fee for this except if you sit on the very last row of the bottom steps.

Sadly, as a dancer, I was really disappointed in the venue. I have been 4 times over a number of years as it was world reknowned as the place to dance in Trinidad. With the opening up of the economy, venues are maximising profits so now the area to dance is so small. You could probably get 4 couples dancing... More
