Trekking in the Viñales Valley

google
This visit allows you to enjoy the beautiful views of the Viñales Valley, while walking, and also at the different stops, you can see how different products of the area are made, with the characteristic tobacco and coffee plantations. You will have the opportunity to taste the authentic Cuban cigar, coffee, honey or rum typical of the "Guayabita del Pinar" area. We will continue to the cave of silence (optional), where we will make a visit, and finally you can relax at the lake where you will have free time to bathe, and eat something in the restaurant that is in the area, where you can enjoy charcoal food , as a specialty, or something to snack on, if they wish. Later, we will return to the beginning of the route.

We did a couple of lessons here for 15 CUC per person per hour. The guys were keen to hear what we wanted from the lesson and were very passionate about what they were teaching. We enjoyed the lessons and learnt a lot. Also got to dance with the teachers on a night out. Reason for 4 out of 5 is the lessons could have been a bit less serious and more fun. I would return if back in Trinidad.

Unfortenatelly we had a bad experience in this studio. We have had many classes in other studios and never had an experience like this. They didnt plan the lesson well, they made us feel bad and complained a lot of everything we did and they made us feel very uncomfortable. They laughed at us when we did wrong and rolled their eyes and had a really bad attitude. We had lessons two days in a row and the last time we left earlier because of how bad they made us feel. The other instructor was nicer and we could talk with him about our experience but Andy just defended himself

A fellow traveler took me to Barrio Cubano to get my first ever salsa lesson. Kikito tought me my first steps and twirls and after that it was Andy who took over. I absolutely loved everything about it. The teachers are great dancers and very professional, patient and fun to hang out with. You will not be disappointed when stepping foot into this escuela; the salsa fever will very soon kick in and not let you go!

My family and friends have had great experiences with Barrio Cubano for two years running. They have catered for me and my friends - reasonably advanced dancers, my husband (beginner) and our kids ages 6 - 9. They are always reliable, kind and lots of fun! Let them k ow what you need and the type of dance experience you want and they will do their best. And like with everything, if you don't 100% click with one of the teachers, ask if they have another and they will do their best to meet your needs. Highly recommended 😁
