This is the uber cool of vineyards. Beanbags in the gardens overlooked the bay where families will drag their boats onto the beach, walk in and enjoy the fine wines. The simple ploughmans cheese board is worth sampling. We had the Pinot Gris which was frighteningly easy to drink. Not to be missed!

Beautiful vineyard set off the beaten track. Knowledgeable sommeliers and beautiful wines. I really enjoyed this visit! Platters are a bit expensive which is a downfall other than that this is a perfect place to chill with a glass of delicious wine looking at gorgeous views of the bay!

...with some unique wines. But the best part of a trip out to Man O' War was the drive out there. Since almost the whole eastern half of Waiheke is owned privately, you get to see sprawling countrysides dotted with sheep and cows like nothing this city kid is used to seeing. The hillsides are epic, but the real treat... More

A stunning location and great feel. Felt slightly let down by the quality of the platter when compared with other local wineries. Standard rice crackers and what looked like "meal mates" really didn't cut it.

A fair drive to get there but worth the trip. A lovely setting overlooking the bay and with picnic tables set in the grounds. A good variety of wines and tasting available before purchasing. We had a platter to share and a Pinot Grigio both of which were lovely. A nice variety of cheese and cold meat. Perhaps not as... More

We were visiting my son in Auckland and he took us, along with several of his friends to this wonderful vineyard. I didn't really know what to expect but it way surpassed my expectations. It's location by the beach was beautiful especially as the weather improved throughout the day. We were pleasantly surprised at the casual and very friendly atmosphere... More

We first visited 3 weeks after it first opened and have visited every year since. Platters were always plentiful , not now !! We got two platters for 4 people at $78 and paid extra for side order of bread and it was pitiful. .everyone went away hungry. Wine however was fantastic as always, bought bottles of Ro'se to take... We had lunch from the food truck parked at the vineyard next to the church. Fantastic food. Small menu but what was on the menu was lovely. We ate lunch on the very comfortable pop up couches. You couldn't ask for a more beautiful outlook for having your lunch.

Not at all as far away as we thought. Nice platters for lunch and plenty of room for the kids to play. Bring a bathing suite and go for a swim in the ocean. Excellent wines! Free wine tasting. A must visit.

We drove out here and thought we were going to the back of beyond given the dirt road and lack of traffic - about 40 minutes from Oneroa. However, it is a beautiful drive and worth it in itself. And when we arrived it was like an oasis. It is a lovely set up with lots of tables out under... More
