We drove up along the coast taking in the views along the way stopping constantly to just absorb the beauty . The road is quite winding but not a lot of traffic so well worth the trip. Stop in at Robin Hood Bay, for yet...More

We drove from Blenheim to Picton (west coast to east coast) and decided to take the longer more scenic route. So pleased we did as it's a beautiful drive, fairly windy but you get that in New Zealand. Definitely worth doing.

Breathtaking and I will be back in summer so we can swim. June was a little too cold. The lookouts are very nice.

Best seen for the water as the dense trees along this very twisty road obscure much of the views except for some very fine viewpoints.

My partner and I drove from Picton to Havelock via Queen Charlotte Drive. And I most certainly recommend the drive for the amazing scenery. That being said, the road is very windy with no signposting, so be prepared for this. We had an all wheel...More

Except for quite large sections of the track before Punga Cove being ploughed up which made it nearly impossible to walk in such thick, heavy mud, this was a beautiful 4 day hike. Perhaps May and rain coincide with track-maintenance time.

Great value trip. The captain pointed out all the homes and places of interest. We visited a salmon farm and saw lots of seabirds. The highlight of the journey was visiting Ship Cove where Captain Cook keel hauled the Endeavour and Resolution over many trips...More

We did the walk after unseasonable wet weather and it was quite slippy in places (clay) it is very up and down but we thoroughly enjoyed it and if you walk a lot you will be fine and can take it at your own pace. We are... More

We stayed at the awful Brydon Accomodations in Blenheim, which I can't recommend! There were some nice wineries in the area, if I was returning I would look at one of those.
