A beautiful place to visit as the entry to the South Island. Definitely recommend taking a good look around here whether you come by ferry or overland.

We went out in our boat and saw a pod of dolphins. We stopped our boat and they came over to us. We put on our wetsuits and jumped it. The dolphins swam around us. Absolutely Magical!!!!

as a busy working woman the track provided challenges, contemplative space ,beauty, fresh air, and magnificent views signage could be improved on but overall wonderful.

We came across on the ferry from Wellington and this is one of the most spectacular entrances into a town anywhere in the world.
