The Marlborough Sounds are gorgeous. My wife and I took the ferry through the Sounds from Picton to Wellington and couldn't believe the view. If you're in the area, make the time to see the Marlborough Sounds.

Will get better and better as bush regenerates and dead wilding pines go away. Gorgeous environment to spend time in.

The Marlborough sounds are beautiful and an amazing place to visit. Beautiful scenery and fantastic to see dolphins swimming alongside the boat. We will be back again soon.

I drove up from Christchurch despite my friends all telling me to go to Nelson, and I've had an amazing time. This is not just a summer destination.

The trip in the inter-island ferry shows it all. The bush-land and the beaches, the myriad of yachts all are simply stunning.
