Helpful and friendly staff. Nice smooth boat ride with lots to see. The island was the highlight. Saw penguins in their nest boxes, saddlebacks, bellbids and the orange fronted kakariki which I've not seen ANYWHERE else. Saw dolphins on the way back which rounded the...More

Excellent customer experience from booking, tour guide and captain. We saw dusky dolphins, heaps of fur seals and birds. Highly recommended!

Our Captain and naturalist both provided interesting and thoughtful commentary on both the marine life and bird life on the sanctuary island Motuara. Worth every penny of the very reasonable price.

We booked this tour very last minute and convinced ourselves that it probably wouldn’t run as we knew they had minimum numbers to fill (which is completely fair enough) as well as it being the middle of winter (who else is crazy enough to swim...More

Very stable boat. Nice trip out to the bird island (Moratura). Saw seals, dolphins, king shag nesting, little penguins swimming and nesting, some other unusual birds on the island. The walk to the top of the island is pleasant enough, but the alternative of staying...More
