We went to Grenen on a tour from a cruise. We were taken. The tractor worm to the point where the North Sea meets the Baltic. You wonder how can you tell where the 2 seas meet but it is actually visible! The waves are...More

I think this is something one should experience because of the 2 seas meeting, but the wow effect wasn't there. Maybe come early morning or late evening to get it, as it was simply too crowded.

I see reviews in here calling it a turist trap. I respectfully disagree. As with all attractions around the world, weather, time of year you visit and time of day you visit, are all factors affecting your visit. Grenen is no exception. We arrived at...More

The overlapping of the waves right at the most northerly point in Denmark was high on our list of things to do in Skagen. We set off walking north along the beach from Skagen (past the brazier) then moved onto the road. Half way along...More

Well worth a visit. You must walk quite a ways on sand to the actual point where the seas meet, but it's a nice stroll.

We had the fortune not only to see the two seas meet, but also seeing a seal play at the scoreline! Nice trip on the sandworm took right to the tip. Beware do not go into the water here. Very strong currents.

If you want to stretch your legs this is the way to do it. Watch out for bicyclists that share the path with you but the walk is pleasant and the scenery changing. Fees to climb steps of lighthouses along the way

The place where 2 seas meet. This is the most northern part of Denmark. There are plenty of smooth pebbles and it is a very windy spot. If you are in Aalborg there is no reason why you give this place a miss. Scenic spot.

Had a nice time here, lovely little posing seal (please don't touch it!) right at the edge of the beach. Cool to see the oceans meet. I would personally walk out all the way from the parking lot rather than take the Sandormen tractor+trailer. It's...More

Me and my Family visited Genren last Autumn, and I wrote a review of that trip, telling how fantastic the experience was. Coming back to Denmark at summer 3/4 of a year later, we rented a summer house about 1 1/2 hour drive away from...More

Hi We drove up and found it a pleasant trip. We were in 2 motorhomes so a bit slower than a car. But worth it. Enjoy.
