About
Just cooking is a small and personal cookery school that offers people a fun and educational evening or day out. We offer a range of demonstration and hands on classes that include, fish cookery, modern Irish cuisine, Barbecue, baking and more. We also offer "The chef's table", which makes for a great night out for groups looking for an alternative to a restaurant. Our "just cooking at home" service offers people staying in self catering holiday homes the opportunity to have a gourmet meal in the comfort of their accommodation.

Wonderful class. Very accommodating. The food was wonderful and our chef, Mark, was amazing. He’s very knowledgeable and tells amazing stories. He kept us engaged the entire class. Bernie was lovely as well. I would recommend this class to anyone that wants to find one in Ireland.

What a wonderful experience! Mark and Bernie couldn’t have been better hosts and the food truly was unbelievable. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and at ease. We left incredibly stuffed but fully satisfied. Every course was fantastic. This is an absolute must for food lovers and, really anyone looking for a great night out.

Not to be missed when you go to Killarney! Just a few short minutes away in Firies, Mark and Bernie provide the most fun evening of food and chat. With locally sourced ingredients and authentic menus, you will learn how to make some of the Irish food that you enjoy so much. Super accommodating, day or evening, I give Mark and Bernie 5 Stars! Don't miss it!

What an amazing dinner! Chief Mark did a spectacular job cooking dinner for our group of 9. This was a highlight of our trip. Thank you Chef Mark for being so entertaining and hospitable. If in the area I highly recommend!!!

What a wonderful night with Mark. Hospitality, humor and delicious food that he taught us how to cook. Very flexible for people with dietary restrictions in the group. I can't recommend this experience highly enough. Make a reservation and thank me later.

Visited Mark and Bernie at "Just Cooking" with my 3 sons( aged 25, 22 and 20) today. Wonderful experience hands on with a knowledgeable and practical chef. Helpful tips in so many ways. Relaxed friendly atmosphere. Made brown bread, roast carrot soup, vegetarian chilli con carne, sirloin steak with garlic potatoes, red onion marmalade and salad and finally chocolate fondant!! Cups of coffee and glasses of wine during food preparation and consumption. An experience that is difficult to give a true outline of without actually being there but hope to do a BBQ or other experience in the future. Wonderful way to spend a wet Saturday .

We're so excited that Mark and Bernie of Just Cooking will be catering our weeklong Writeaways writing workshop at Carriglea House again this September! Last year they delighted our writers with fabulous evening meals and their charming company. This year they're adding a cooking class to our special events. We can't wait!

While in Killarney, I was searching for a fun outing for our family (three kids: 11, 9, 6) and came across Just Cooking. I am so glad I booked a class with Mark -- what a great night for everyone! Mark did an incredible job teaching and entertaining. Our kids rate it as one of their highlights while in Ireland.

Our group was staying at Beuafort House for the week. We hired Just Cooking to cater our breakfasts and dinners during our stay. Mark, Bernie and their children were lovely. They were so accommodating, made us whatever we requested. Everything was delicious. On our last night, Mark gave us some cooking lessons!! I would highly recommend Just Cooking for any catering or cooking lessons. You won't be disappointed. Thank you Mark and Bernie!

we are traveling to killarney august 1 through 8th. There will be 11 in our group. 4 of which eat gluten free. I was wondering if you and your spouse are ever hired to cook for a family where just a few want to watch and learn or where you just cook. My mom is an amazing cook and we are trying to give her a break on this vacation which is a 50 th wedding anniversary.
