I am fascinated by other people's reviews ! Someone said 'not much to see' !!!!! This Mine is accessed by 54 flights each of seven stairs down. These are shallow, safe, wooden and with two good handrails. This takes you down about 800ft, and the...More

It is interesting to see how the miners worked mining the salt. The large chambers and statues are amazing. Now they stopped mining but still get salt from the mine.

in general i think the tour is rather rushed. We were held back by other groups and rushed along by those who came behind. Spacing out groups a little more would make the visit more agreeable. Our guide was a lovely, friendly girl but she...More

Salt mine is historically gem. But the guiding we’re hard to follow. Because the audio system fell out all the time. 😔

We were brought here by Riviera Travel and welcomed by Mark. It is a brilliant tour which was just right to fill a few hours. Very accommodating staff and Mark was excellent, very informative and kept the talk lively. A must see whilst in Krakow.

At some 20 km from Kraków you’ll find the mine which was still operational not too long ago. Guided tours in various languages are available every 30 minutes. We booked a guided tour which ultimately took us to 130 meters underground for approx 22 euro...More

Hi you can go down the mine with a back pack but be warned the staircase down to the start of the tour is snug and has 300+ steps and you will be walking over a mile

There is a restaurant in the mine and no danger of claustrophobia. The halls are huge and the restaurant much larger than most sidewalk cafes - sure he will be fine. Enjoy!
