It is so amazing to see so much salt & what they can use it for. The whole tour only took under 2 hours. Travelling time is 40 minutes by bus from Krackow city centre & costs less than 1 euro each way. As we went in the winter, it was easy just to buy the ticket when we arrived.

I would defiantly recommend this to anyone visiting Krakow it really is worth seeing when in Poland. The outside and ground of the mine are beautiful and well kept. When you go down into the mine you have to walk down a couple of hundred steps which I found okay it is really windy though! Our tour guide was informative... More

After a crazy bus journey from Krakow (driver was mental) we arrived at at what looked like the middle of a small town. We walked 300 yards to the entrance of the mine and were instructed that our tour guide was inside. The tour guide was a short middle aged lady with dark hair and she was AWFUL!! Everything thing... No wonder this place early came on UNESCO's World Heritage List. You have to walk a lot, over 300 stairs down (but lift up again). Easy to walk in their tunnel. Stunning sculptures made of salt. Simple a place you must visit.

I found this tour way overpriced for what it was. Also be aware that when they say student prices are for those up to 26 years old this means that you can't get it when you're 26, it's only for those up to 25 which was very confusing as we were hoping to pay the student price being 26. They... More

Very interesting, not too long and close to the centre of Krakow. The walk down the staircase (90m )is not too bad and the lift back up is fun but a bit of a tight fit.
