Great View and good exercise
Jun 2021
This place is worth a walk and visit, the walk is ok, as most part is on wooden path, but the last part in the sand is where the exercise begins but it is worth it to have a look from the high point and see the sand dunes who big the spread out.

Amazing place
Nov 2020 • Couples
It's amazing place to walk and enjoy unusual environment. At the top of Parnidis dune a wonderful view opens up. Walking the dune strange feeling keeps like someone is watching you. You can find traces of deers or other forest animals. Recommend!

Among the most beautiful dunes of Europe
Aug 2020
The Dunes of Nida are without a doubt a spectacular place to enjoy natures formations and I easily count them among the most beautiful dunes of Europe. While it can be strenous is the hike definitely worth the effort as sights as far as Russia can be seen from the top. The place feels very foreign and is definitely not what people would asociate with Lithuania. It is a wonderous place of nature.

The dune.. wow. We didn’t have a lot of expectations for this place. But when we got up, the view was absolutely amazing! Entrance fee was 2€ for person. The best 2€ I’ve spent in my life!

one of the most impressive places we had the chance to visit, in spite of the strong wind we walked up to the sandy hills to reach te top with a breathtaking view on both baltic sea and the lagoon. magnificent

Wonderful Dunes - Great view
Nov 2019
Nice dunes, easy access and great view from the top. One of the big reasons to come to the Curonian spit is the dunes and this is certainly one o the best. Fantastic views from the top.

Dunes spectacular, crowd not so much
Sep 2019
Very crowded place, so just enjoying the dunes is hard. Also, people just walking everywhere. Not fan of that either.
But the nature, nature is wonderful.

One Hundred and Eighty-Nine Steps...Spectacular View!
Aug 2019
There are 189 steps (I counted in order to not focus on the height!) to reach the top of the Nida Dunes...if you climb the wooden staircase via the town side of the Dunes. The other option is the car route...much less interesting. Once at the top, you'll have gorgeous views of the Baltic; an intriguing sun-dial/clock; and, lots of sand!
It reminded me of a modified sand-version of the Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland.
