Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We drove out to see the lighthouse and the surrounding area. We visited in early September and the gift shop and restaurant were closed.
Not sure that it was worth the effort. You can’t see the ocean until the last few miles. Until then your view is blocked by trees. On the plus side, we were able to take a photo of the flag for the Kingdom of Torgu that was flying near the lighthouse.

You can see the Baltic see on the right side of the peninsula and the Riga bay on the left side. Coffee shop and a fish restaurant next to it. Visit the lighthouse too. Cool visit

Wow, just amazing. There is museum also, and you can climb 250 ladder to get to the top of it. Incredible, must visit. ;)

A beautiful place with nice views on a clear day. 4Eur for an adult to climb the approx. 250 steps with spectacular views on top. Surroundings are also nice.

We took our chances and drove to Jarve to check out the lighthouse and enjoy the view. Man, it was windy out there but totally worth it.

The area is some 45min drive from Kuressaar. The trip as such is an experience. Light house area has shop for hand craft, and a nice small restaurant.

Althought the lighthouse is closed to visitors, the museum is fantastic. The information on the lighthouse on the island is thorough and well displayed. The walk out to the end of the spit of land was great. The warm weather and the gentle breeeze made it all quite nice; could be different with inclement weather!

There is a fish restaurant, handicraft on sale, a museum, a lighthouse and a windy shore. Nice place to visit if the weather is warm and sunny. We did the trip from Kuressaare; good road all the way.

Grate place to walk excluding windy moments. Some souvenirs available. Interesting museum, hospitable staff. Unfortunately lighthouse it self is closed for visitors due to it's working status.
