The building is preserved, but closed. We failed to find more information. But the neighbouring new building of Narva Universtity college makes nice unison with old Town hall.

Nice and interesting historical building hidden in Narva. The condition from outside is not that nice.

Beautiful building to photograph
Aug 2016
A lovely building, especially at dusk, especially in light of Narva's sad history. It's dilapidated which makes it even more charming. Really makes you think how lovely Narva must have been before the war.

Not open to the public

You can ask to see a paper model of Narva on the 2nd floor. Maybe they will let you in. We had no luck getting inside. Walk around and take some pics . It needs maintenance.

Old building :D
Jun 2015
I was born in Narva and this building used to work as place for study, sports, musical activity, dancing and many many other different things. It has been renovated a little, but other than that the building is old. Not much to see really, but it is close to the park so you can walk around the park and walk by this place.

Just saw it from the outside
Sep 2015 • Solo
As a lover of interesting architecture I just watched this place from the outside. If I had an opportunity to see it from the inside I had tried that. But I were their in the evening so I never even tried to see if it was open for public, but I liked the architecture and felt pleased.

Hard to find and nothing there!
Aug 2012 • Couples
It really is hidden away in a housing estate. At the moment there's work going on there, so maybe there are plans to make something of it, but right now don't bother!

Interesting Northern-Baroque Architecture
Although the city of Narva is somewhat short on historic sites and long on bleak Soviet-style architecture, it does have a few remnants of its glorious past. One of these is the Old Town Hall, built between 1668-1671. This beautiful structure was the center peice of a town that was once know as the "Little Vienna of the East" due to it's quaint charm and old-world beauty. Though the Old Town Hall is open during only special events and concerts, it is still imposing and impressive even if only from the outside. This irreplacable example of what has been termed Norther-Baroque architecture is a living tribute to Narva's impressive past when it was once destined to be the "second capital" of the Swedish Kindom due to the city's important geographic location. Combined with a visit to Narva Castle (the city's famous and premier tourist haunt) as well as the City Art Museum, Narva's Old Town Hall can truly add to one's appreciation for beauty and history.
