Plesant leafy beach vacation area
Sep 2019
Nice leafy vacation area. I took a stroll on the beach and stopped in a market as I left the area after a few nights stay. Very pretty and pleasant.

Beautiful sea shore and the beach
Aug 2018 • Friends
The town is located by the Baltic sea. The loveliest sandy beach looks endless. The see shore is shallow and great for children and non-advanced swimmers. The water can be really worm. Great place for relaxing and enjoying space and air. The pine-trees along the beach make it picturesque and even more healthy. It’s a quiet and friendly place

A really good beach.
Aug 2017 • Family
Maybe the best beach in Estonia. At least, the longest, I think. Take a bus from Narva bus station to get there.

The place where the time has stopped
Nov 2017 • Solo
Great place for gaining inspiration any time of year. This place has been used for recreation of many famous poets, writers, painters, composers. Quite busy in the summer time... Perfect sandy beach - wide and long, pines, cafes and restaurants on the beach and by the seashore, several huge and famous spa centers. Nice little wooden russian church, interesting museum of estonian writer Tammsaare, very special old wooden carved houses, not so many left although.. Nice park with the pond and small bridges. Beautiful lighthouse. Bank, atm machines, supermarket.

Best beach in North Europe
Jul 2015 • Friends
13 km of a clean white sand, cold, but charming Baltic Sea, few good SPA hotels just on the waterfront, lots of small restaurants with delicious food, stunning forest and relaxing atmosphere with just 3 hours drive from the capital. Still thinking to come or not?

Incredible beach!!!!
Feb 2016 • Family
Incredible beach needs nothing further other than miles of sandy beach leading onto clean shallow sea.
Spa and sanitariums aplenty to visit.
Loads of lovely walks in the area.
Lovely

Nice
Jul 2015 • Family
A nice place to spend a quiet vacation. A long beach, quite nicely equipped, offers plenty of room to swim. The nearby forests offer lots of hiking mushroom - and berry picking and simply some quiet, not yet disturbed by lots of tourists.
The only downsides are the remote location (which is also an advantage) and some Soviet-era infrastructure in some places (which is, I must say, improving rapidly).

Beach - SPAs - Sea
Jun 2015 • Couples
It is a quite town nearby the beach. Good during summer for sunshine (if there is some... ahah) and during winter for a walk along the sea. Some shops and restaurants. Some SPAs as well.

Awesome beach!!
Aug 2014 • Couples
This place is awesome during the summer. Long beach is continuing as far as your eyes can see. The water is cold mostly, but the sand is warm so you can stay on it :)

There is couple of volleyball fields and you can just join people to play. It is not far to walk to the park (the opposite direction from the beach) and walk around in the part - it is awesome too. Very green and beautiful trees.

Good place to go turning hot summer day..
I really liked the beach. It's biggest or on of the biggest continues sand beach on the Baltic Sea... Sadly town itself is in ruins. It was a popular resort among Finns, Estonians and Russians. Nowadays it's just a shadow of it's past...
