The church is only 3 euros to enter and is quite plain (although there was a good exhibition on architecture there when we went). The tower is an extra 6 euros each, but is worth it. The lift is small and slow, but the views over the city are excellent.

Best part of Riga. For about 9 euros you can explore this amazing church inside and out. Take the elevator to the top and see amazing 360 views. Wish I could see this both during the day and night. Highly rscommended. Pure and authentic.

Views could be impressive of the Old Town, I would expect so for 18 euros for two people! 9 euros per person is ridiculous, and church itself is nothing to write home about. I would recommend to go to the 24th floor of the Raddison Blu Hotel at sunset (3.30 at this time of year). There you can see a... More

9 euros to take the lift to the top floor and is well worth the visit. You get a 360 degree view of the whole old town part of Riga and on a clear day can see all the way across to the airport

The church itself is, frankly, nothing to write home about, though it has been restored with taste and care. The story of this 13th century structure is quite ordinary but it is a very significant landmark for the local people. The wooden altar structure is beautiful. The view is notable and so is the fee but I did not mind... More

I read the reviews warning about the 9 euro entry but had to see it for myself. Definitely not worth the 9 euros! its only 4 euros at the stalin birthday cake building, and the views are much better.

The views are amazing giving you a good look of Riga from up high. It was so cold we were up and down in 10 minutes and the main church area was blocked off to the public so maybe not worth the 9€. However the staff tried to help us when asked questions.

Most interesting part is the steeple, which you can visit by paying a small fee and taking the elevator up. Nice views of the old town! Bonus: enjoy the company of the lady who has the ungrateful job of sitting in the elevator all day and having to press only two buttons, while simultaneously not paying attention to any of... More
