Very surprising to find such an interesting old part in the City of Riga, with old buildings in very good condition, the "Art Nouveau" area and a very nice park in the central city.

Awesome gem in Riga. Yes it's touristy but it's what makes this place interesting and so close and central. Beautiful architecture here and I must say my favorite part.

Now a very modern old town surrounded by ugly modern buildings. The area between the park and river is small and safe to wander around. Has many shops, bars, cafes etc. Its nice to see but wouldn't make for anymore than a short weekend break....More

Stay sober, alert, & clean. Go to bed early, eat right, exercise, don't smoke. That'll eliminate 95% of problems. Follow my advice and you'll be fine.
