About
One of the most magnificent buildings in Town Hall Square is the House of Blackheads (circa 1334 and rebuilt in 1995-99), which once hosted a brotherhood of foreign merchants and now serves as both a museum and concert hall.

It was a great idea to rebuild this amazing building. Especially in the evening sun the lovely color of the building shows it beauty!

There is no question about it. This is a magnificent building. The trouble is that it is not an original medieval building but a faithful reproduction. If you like new medieval buildings this is for you.

unfortunately we didnt have enough time to go in, but from outside it has an interesting architecture. it is located in a big square also, nice place to just sit and enjoy the nice weather.

Would be better without the sight of the crane in the background. Nice square with the statue in front of the blackhead house.

Wonderful history of the Blackheads, the guildhall and municipal government. Be sure to look for the nearby spot where the first Christmas tree was erected by Martin Luther.

Well worth a visit, a building with interesting history and architecture. A little bit tucked away but we'll worth the visit and illuminated at night.
