Climb the tower for spectacular views
Oct 2019
Easily accessible, the view from the tower is spectacular. You can see the river with its unique buildings (zeppelins hangars, new library)

Absolutely worth it

It's one of the must in Riga. It costs only 5 E to take the elevator to the last floor and enjoy a 360 degree view over the city. It could have helped though to have some sort of explanation about the main buildings you see from the top.

Very nice panoramic view of the city

One of the things that must be visited during your stay in Riga. Gives you a high overview on how the city looks from above

Awesome 360 degrees view of Riga will help you decide where you want to go in the city. There are usually art exhibitions inside cathedral, and ambience of the cathedral is very interesting

The best thing I did in Riga
Feb 2020
I couldn't recommend this enough! It was 9 euro to go up the tower (free to just go into the church I think). There are about 3 flights of steps to walk up then a lift took you the rest of the way. It was cold and very windy at the top (as you'd expect in February!) but it was my favourite part of the trip. Excellent 360 views of the city on both sides of the river. Luckily we had a clear day and we could see for miles.

Stunning views!
Feb 2020
While I am not a massive fan of heights, I'm very glad that I forced myself to go up in the little lift to the tower - the view is absolutely breathtaking (even if I couldn't make myself go right up to the barrier!). The entrance fee of 9 euros - yes, a bit much but I suppose the upkeep costs a fair amount and I still felt it well worthwhile. The church itself was also very pretty with a nice art exhibition on from a local artist too.

Great views on a nice day
Dec 2019
Views from the top are great on a nice day, able to see in all directions and identify landmarks in the city and beyond. If it is cloudy, recommend going back on another day, as the views will be more limited. After being at the top, your entrance ticket also allows the opportunity to walk around the inside of the church.

There is a 9 euro entrance fee, which is perhaps a little steep. Also be aware that if there is a queue outside (as there was on the day we visited), that means that there is a long queue inside as well, as you need to line up on three flights of stairs before getting to the small lift which has a weight limit. So recommend visiting first thing in the morning if you can to limit any waiting and maximise the time you have up top enjoying the views. But would definitely recommend if visiting Riga.

A bit expencive (9€) but lovely view from 53m, you can see the whole city from up there! Must climb 3floors before elevator so not for handicaps.

Great views of colourful Riga
Dec 2019
Definitely worth visiting for the views over the old town. The queue moved fairly quickly and once we had enjoyed the views, we were able to enjoy the exhibition of art work in the church.
