The large globe is much of a landmark at the end of the pedestrian street. I like globes, and particularly this one, which you can rotate.

Jurmala Globe is a good meeting point and a must place for a holiday photo. Point your home location with a finger to make your photo even better! :-)

The globe is located at the end of Jomas Street. Many tourists stop by it to have their photo taken.

It was not so impressive as expected before. Just the big ball near the walking way. Just good to know that it is there but not nothing special.

On the side of the street. Personally, I would say it is more a landmark it is especially so if you are first time there.

You can actually rotate the globe and see the maps. Very nice for picture taking. I do not know if you can actually do something else with the globe but worth a try.

Jumalas Globe is the beginning point for the Jomas street. I would recommend it if you like taking photos, but Just for a photo! Nothing more...

This is a great starting spot for exploring the Jurmula (Dzintari) area, blocks away from great shopping, the concert hall, great restaurants, and of course, the gorgeous beach.
