Walk through a former industrial brewery with remnant equipment, which also exhibits the history of beer. Interactive displays and a small tasting at the end enhance the experience.

We have visited a few breweries over the world, so we honestly didn't have much expectations for this brewery tour in Tartu.

The tours run only on Saturdays (3 times) and Thursday PM (1 time).
We had made an advance booking for the 10:00 tour...and ended up being the only ones showing up. So we had a private tour !

Our guide, Argo, was simply incredible. As an employee of the brewery, he knows a lot of stuff and is able to provide great explanations. He is able to answer all the questions you might have. Being we were alone also enabled the tour to be very casual.

We were taken to all the cool places, including the top of the outside fermentation tanks. The view of the more residential side of Tartu is nice from up there.

The tasting at the end is also very nice. Many products are offered and the bar is quite warm and cosy.

We would definitely recommend this activity, even if you have toured other breweries before. This one might just sweep you away !

Just double check when museum works. Brand store also can be a target for short visit as it has a lot of nice brand classes and other stuff. Reasonable prices allow you to taste A.Le Coq's drinks

Wonderful people, Museum, and store for a variety of beer and accoutrements. Even older children will enjoy the museum and juices. We so appreciate the accommodating supervisors and store staff. Everyone was so kind. The walk is pleasant from the old town as well.

My partner and I spent a wonderful couple of hours touring the A Le Coq museum. So much to view and experience. Our tour guide was informative, helpful and had a brilliant sense of humour.

Quite a good tour of the brewery and museum detailing the history behind Estonia's A Le Coq beer. Walk up the hill, which is about 10-15 minutes from the Town Hall square. Tour itself takes about 2 hours with some generous sampling at the end. Terviseks!

The tour is super long, it takes like 2 hours. At the begin is fun, but then it gets tired of seeing all time the same things.
At the end, they let you try one beer, that you can find on any supermarket.

Definitely worth 5€! This was a great tour and our guide was very knowledgable. You shouldn't miss the opportunity to see a perfectly maintained 19th century brewery if you have the time to go. You get a tour of the old and new brewery plus a free beer of your choice from A. le Coq’s wide selection at the end. Highly recommend this to anyone coming to Tartu. We went for the 10:00 tour on a Saturday and it was just the two of us!
