Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Part of the Teater Vanemuine complex. In front of the Shakespeare Cafe/restaurant . good view of city centre (not old town city square) . Have a play with the sonic sculpture - bang the metal plates on the wall.

This probably is not a reason for visiting on its own unless you've visited the Tubin Museum House. The Theatre itself is well worth visiting to attend ballets, operas, children's events, musicals and orchestral or choral concerts. As the Vanemuine has revived Tubin's opera, "The Pastor of Reigi", the statue is of current interest. (February 2018)

Out front of the Vanemuine Theatre, this monument is fun for kids especially as they can activate the music themselves, and pretend to be musicians in an invisible orchestra by sitting on the black mushrooms.

It is another nice idea gone wrong as it rarely works but it should play music by the composer Tubin would be better if they added af few more Estonian composers

I am not familiar with music, specially with Estonian one. This monument I like so much because it is really interesting. Conductor stands right in front of Philharmonic and by touching big black circle nearby you can listen his music. There is also place to sit.

The black circular 'mushrooms' represent notes of a music score. Best to read the informative information tablet.

The statue has like an orchestra in front of it, which is really nice. Also the board explaining why this statue has been made is really informative.
