Worth to visit for every aviation or military fan.

I recommend to visit if you are interested in aviation, airplanes, aircrafts, missles, military. The exhibition area is very nice (incl an observation tower) and clean but not too big. Most of exhibition is under roofs thus rain does not matter. Info-stands about aviation history from pre-Wright brothers till nowadays (incl a lot of focus to military) are very interesting and well organised. You would need a couple of hours just for infostands. Mostly there are military airplanes (from many different countries like Soviet Union, USA, UK etc) and I can not remember if the number is ca 20 or something. Also some radars and missles (this was really interesting) from military and also one T-34 tank (if I remember it right; Soviet's No 1 tank at WW II). In addition one TU-134 and some smaller non-military airplanes and aircrafts. Also exhibition of airplane engines was really cool. P.S. It is a private museum but ticket prices were very reasonable also.

Excellent privately run aviation museum
Jun 2019
This may not be the most extensive or comprehensive aviation museum in Europe but it contains some unusual exhibits and the vast majority are superbly restored and maintained. There are some nice side exhibits and a selection of vehicles and missiles to view.

About 20 aircrafts
May 2019 • Couples
At first I did not wanted to go there because thought the are only 3-4 old planes to see. I am glad I went there because I was totally wrong! There are about 20 aircrafts. Really worth to visit. Estrance is 10 Eur.
Before visit please check correct address in museum homepage because location in Tripadvisor is wrong (about 30 min far by car). I submitted adress change, but get sure you have correct address.

Disappointment above all
May 2018 • Solo
I was there with intention to see some Russian planes, whole drive through Estonia I adjusted to visit the museum. As I'm interested in aviation, got a leaflet with exhibits, I had great expectations... MiG-29, Mig-15, Su-27, Tu-16... Neither one of those were there. So, my disappointment was huge. Plus, museum is focused to Estonian people, hard to find anyone who speaks English. Some of attractions are several models (1:72) of aircraft carrier have their place in one of hangars with legend in Estonian language. Maybe someone loves it, me not. So, if you have kids up to 12, than OK, otherwise...not.

Nice aviation museum near Tartu. Different annual aviation festivals and exhibitions are organized there. Large parking lot to place the car near museum. No dislikes.

That day was annual Estonian Aviation Days – is a largest aviational event in the Baltics. This time the crowd-pullers are the foreign aerobatic pilots performances from Lithuania, light jet group Baltic Bees aerobatics, primary presentation of fighter F-4 Phantom II and the presence of NATO allies modern armored equipment. There are also fascinating flights of PPA helicopter, parachutists and more.
It was great day!

Invest two hours and see about 25 planes, mostly military but some civilian. Nice Cold War stuff. You get on into 3-4 planes. A collection if ministereistä, too. 15 mins drive from downtown.

There's an interesting collection of plnes here, but the entrance fee of 10 euro's is too steep considering the lacjk of (english) explanations.
