About
Tahtvere Manor, which is located in the City of Tartu today, used to be a part of Noo Parish. The manor was first mentioned in 1515 and it belonged to the Bishop of Tartu in the Middle Ages. The Estonian Institute of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine used the mansion of the manor after the Second World War. The mansion has become one of the study buildings of the Estonian University of Life Sciences by today.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This building, former manor, is really not a tourist attraction. It is locaked a little bit out of old part of town. Building is interesting outside but not breathtaking. This building is a part of a campus of University of Life Sciences and there are officies inside and there is not anything that recalls its manor past.

Public access is restricted. The interiors have been redesigned for administration and lecturing purposes.
The exterior, not one of the most memorable, is best viewed from the Tallinn-Tartu road '40' where it passes the wood facade of Spordihoone (the Sports Hall) on the left.
