Well restored town hall with beautiful flower decoration. The square has survived relatively untouched. We pointed only one modern building. Due to this the eviroment is relaxing with several terasses offering wide variety of food and refreshments.

This is a especially nice place when there has some events. Otherwise there has a little boring. You can just pass it or sit down in some cafe and look to the Town Hall building and the statue in front of it.

Tartu is a pleasant town for a stroll with nice restaurants. Start at the townhall square and don't hurry.

The Hall Square is the heart of the city, it is well connected and it's nice to admire its views. There are often some exhibitions, activities or shows

One of the nicest places in Tartu especially if there is something happening, like a market or the Hansa Days. Old cobblestones mix wellw itht he mostly stalinistic buildings around the square and the smallish but good looking Town Hall.

Beautiful Town Hall that is partially open to visitors, famous Leaning House with art exhibitions that exchange every now and then and signature of Tartu: fountain with statue of kissing students. Especially nice during summer season: cafeterias have their terraces open and christmastime comes with...More

Tartu Town Hall Square is in the very heart of the old town. The sculpture of kissing students adds very romantic touch to it.

Beautiful square and especially nice in the Christmas time with all the lights, a huge Christmas tree, an outdoor café which serves hot drinks and wafers, swings to sit on.

Chrostmas Time tgere is a huge tree and also an encampment where you can be surrounded by christmas trees and get some mulled wine on the inside. Be sure to grab a photo!
