Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Interesting experience - was fun for all family :)
Something new for us.

Don’t need a lot of time for visiting this house.

It's very funny place where to enjoy. It's not so big, so it's really fast to visit, maybe not more than 30 minutes. But it's very original place, so in my opinion it's a place to visit to see something different and original.

Kids will be super excited.

At first it seems really hard to move there, but after a while it starts to be quite normal.

It's a perfect place where you can take funny pictures.

Price is 7,5 euros

I had the best day of my life visiting this upside down house. It was so much fun running around taking photos with my friends - other visitors were keen to follow our lead with fun photo ideas! We must have spent about 2 hours here total and taken over 1000 photos between us. The lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful, and I even got an iced lolly on my way out as they have refreshments there. For £6 for a ticket it was well worth the money and would be very keen to come back here one day

Located just in front of the Estonian museum, this upside-down house is a very interesting visit.
For 7,50 Euros (6 if you have ticket from the Estonian museum) you get to enter this place.

From the outside, the illusion is very good and intriguing. The house looks turned upside-down following a hurricane.
As you get in, you also realize that the floors are not even and this adds to the illusion. It is quite mind challenging to venture into each room and try things.
Try opening the stuff, like the fridge... as there are things inside !

It makes for cool pictures as well, especially once you flip them over.

Worth a visit.. as it takes about 15 minutes to tour completely.

This is a bit pricey, but if, like me, you are tickled by things like this, you will really enjoy it.
The house is not just upside-down, but the rooms are built like Ames rooms so they slope, giving odd perspectives as you walk through the rooms. It is pretty disorientating! There are two floors, and you will find bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living room, sauna......all really well done. We quite happily whiled away an hour in here exploring and taking lots of photos in different perspectives. Great for kids too and worth looking at on the way to the National museum.

I was wondering about ticket's price: 17 euro per person to see 3-4 rooms in up-down locations. If you are travelling with family, just ask one of you to check if it costs its money. During summer time, it's too hot inside, no one worried to open windows or place air condition system in the same up-down mounting way

We cycled out here using the Tartu Smart Bikes otherwise I imagine it would be around a 40minute walk from old town. Interesting visit - good photo opportunites but slightly overpriced at €7.50 for an adult and you only need around 20minutes. Probably worth combining this with a trip to the national museum right next door but this was closed when we visited (on a Monday!)

It looked for me too strange but my friends recommended. For adults it was interesting experience and kids recalled that visit several times. They called it "crazy house". It is well designed and we left with mixes but positive feelings.

When in Tartu with kids, worth to visit.
