Telliskivi is a model for what can be done with old industrial spaces and post-Soviet decay. Instead of just building more flats or offices for the ultra rich and completely gentrifying a part of the city, Tallinn now has a town within a town. It's remarkable and beautiful. Lots of art, lots of small business, lots of creativity. In Lithuania we desperately need more thinking like this. Telliskivi is awesome place, and a real testament to Estonian mentality. Coming back again after 2 years, I felt mixed The old flair of Art Deco had disappeared, not totally but a lot. Instead some Bohemia’s bar terrace feeling Good or bad, that’s for everybody to decide them self. But the fact is, less art, more bars The wall with fun painting was disappeared 😢 And some others too Photography art gallery was a nice new surprise. A little bit expensive though Interesting to see how it will develop further If the bars will kill the hippy/bohemian Art Deco feeling. I hope not …

Great place to visit. Boutiques, restaurants. Fleemarket and now also Fotografiska Museet. Walking distance from Tallinn Old town.

A great place, an old industrial area now housing unique boutiques with local design, artists, open-air scenes for performing (also: open to anyone), clubs, cafes, small restaurants. Anybody could tell you that much. If you know anything about the history of Estonia, this place is a modern miracle. Much like alternative, creative centers in places like Berlin, but a with a genuine Estonian touch. Something to make you appreciate this ancient tribe and its culture even more.…
