The view from Tallinn TV Tower is unique in Estonia as well as in all of Northern Europe. Under your feet are the woods of Muuga. The captivating Tallinn Old Town and the glistening Baltic Sea in all of its majestic glory are off in the distance. When Estonia was still behind the Iron Curtain, this was for many Estonians a window on the free world - at night one could even catch sight of the lights of Helsinki. To illustrate the view, visitors can use multimedia screens: to increase the area visible in it or seeing what the place looked like in the past. It is a view that must be seen. And - experienced! Bus information The TV Tower is served by city buses 34A, 38 and 49 ("Teletorn" stop), as well as by CityTour and City Sightseeing tourist buses (green line, Mere pst - Teletorn). Handicapped-accessible.

Gives an idea of how green the entire city is! If you make just a day trip to Talinn like us, the view from this tower gives a good idea of how the city is laid out. But it is far out of town.

The TV tower is of an imposing height, but too far out of town to get any glimpses of Tallinn itself. It has a viewing platform. There is also a restaurant, which, however, was closed without any further information during my visit

There are some interesting exhibits here but the key attraction is the tower and the view it affords. It clearly shows that Tallinn is a lot more than just the Old Town. To me, the fascinating part was seeing just how flat Estonia is and...More

You see far from here and those with vertigo may get some extra heartbeats when watching down the holes in the floor. Not really exiting for a person of my age.

We liked the exhibition about life in the soviet union. Also the views are great. You could also get to the outside terrace at the top which opens view on different parts of Tallinn! For extreme lovers there are edge trails.

This was a good experience! Check the digital kiosks to know more about Tallinn. Make sure you visit the observation deck (170m above ground), the outer deck and the surroundings next to tower base.
