A good way to spend the day
Aug 2020
Pirita Beach is close to Tallinn and hence popular, especially as it is only 15 minutes by bus,. The beach was clean and well maintained. It has small cubicles every 20-25 yards(metres) in which you can change. The beach backs onto a wood which is popular with cyclists, joggers and roller bladers. The sea is very shallow, even if you walk out 200 yards it is only 2-3 feet deep. By North Sea standards the water was warm, especially at the end of a sunny day. Pirita Beach is a good place to spend the day and Tallinn gives a fantastic drop. There is a good small supermarket (Rimi) in the shopping centre next to Pirita Beach bus stop. Supermarket sells sandwiches, note you are not allowed glass bottles on the beach. Bus is only 90 cents one way from Tallinn town centre to Pirita Beach

Great time at the beach
Aug 2020
We had a great time paddle boarding and swimming- and it’s not as cold as they say it is, plus there are some very useful changing huts on the sand

Not the best day to be here !
Sep 2019
We were here in September on a cool, windy and drizzly day so unfortunately our review is not the best ! Didn't see the beach and it was a dreary view of grey endless sea.

A beautiful stroll.
Jul 2019
Take a leisurely stroll along this lovely, clean and picturesque stretch of beach where you can look out to sea towards the Gulf of Finland. I visited during the summer where the temperatures were up as high as 30C. Very popular location but I was very impressed by the lack of litter. Clearly, the people of Tallinn like and respect this lovely stretch of coast. Very accessible from the city centre using bus numbers 8 or 34A.

Business
Sep 2019
I arrived with my colleges in Pirita hotel. Everything was so perfect exept some small things. First of all we went to casino olimpic and girls who was working there, here name Annitta she was so rude, and treated us like rubish. So we left straight away. Next day we went to restaurant in lobby of the hotel and barmen Name Mattias he was as well so rude and he have no knowledge about how to serve people and his attitude was so bad and unforgettable.

Wonderful Beach - Cold Water though
Aug 2019
We have been there end of August and it was a really nice sunny day. The beach is beautiful. It is such a shame that the water is so cold though. this beach deserves a lot more. A few people were actually in the water. I would guess it was about 17-18 degrees Celsius.

We came by bus from Tallinn centre. Uncomplicated. There are some places where you can have something to eat and drink as well. Really nice!

On a rainy day.
Aug 2019 • Couples
After visiting Kadriorg Art Museum, we walked to Pirita beach, enjoying the soft drizzle, caressing and soothing wind. As the intensity of rain increased we took shelter under canopy of trees. There were few cycling enthusiasts and not many bathers. It was a memorable evening for us.

Beautiful Beach
Jul 2019
This beach is really quite beautiful. Well maintained, clean, picturesque with a view of old town. I'm not sure, though, that I'd go swimming here as the water is quite chilly.

Trying to see a beach in Tallin
Aug 2019
We've gone by bus to Pirita. The bus stop where we leave the bus was near a hotel. We saw the sea but there was none beach at all. Perhaps we fail the right place to see the Pirita beach.
