Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Must see not only the Pirita beach but also the ruins of the church which are basically in front of the beach, it is like a 5 min walk. We arrived there using the bus from the center of Tallinn. It was very easy and fast, ticket costs 1.50 for non residents and can be paid with any contact less card like VISA Mastercard on bus (usually the first validating machine in entrance of the bus).

Came to see the beach today and is was really not what you especially from a beach it’s much better to come at sunset or sunrise rather then any of time during the day

It takes about one and a half hour to walk to this place. In winter the stroll along the sea is very nice and offers a good view of the city, but the beach itself not very inviting of course, even if it must be nice in summer.

Pirita Beach is close to Tallinn and hence popular, especially as it is only 15 minutes by bus,. The beach was clean and well maintained. It has small cubicles every 20-25 yards(metres) in which you can change. The beach backs onto a wood which is popular with cyclists, joggers and roller bladers. The sea is very shallow, even if you walk out 200 yards it is only 2-3 feet deep. By North Sea standards the water was warm, especially at the end of a sunny day. Pirita Beach is a good place to spend the day and Tallinn gives a fantastic drop. There is a good small supermarket (Rimi) in the shopping centre next to Pirita Beach bus stop. Supermarket sells sandwiches, note you are not allowed glass bottles on the beach. Bus is only 90 cents one way from Tallinn town centre to Pirita Beach

We had a great time paddle boarding and swimming- and it’s not as cold as they say it is, plus there are some very useful changing huts on the sand

We were here in September on a cool, windy and drizzly day so unfortunately our review is not the best ! Didn't see the beach and it was a dreary view of grey endless sea.

Take a leisurely stroll along this lovely, clean and picturesque stretch of beach where you can look out to sea towards the Gulf of Finland. I visited during the summer where the temperatures were up as high as 30C. Very popular location but I was very impressed by the lack of litter. Clearly, the people of Tallinn like and respect this lovely stretch of coast. Very accessible from the city centre using bus numbers 8 or 34A.

I arrived with my colleges in Pirita hotel. Everything was so perfect exept some small things. First of all we went to casino olimpic and girls who was working there, here name Annitta she was so rude, and treated us like rubish. So we left straight away. Next day we went to restaurant in lobby of the hotel and barmen Name Mattias he was as well so rude and he have no knowledge about how to serve people and his attitude was so bad and unforgettable.
