It was a beautiful September day when our guide took us to this beach after a quick tour of the Kadriorg Palace and gardens. In the warm weather some locals were actually in the ocean but for us the Baltic Sea was just not warm enough. There is at least several miles of this beach and our guide said that... More

About 6-7km from City Centre to East is this lovely area, which is known for its beautiful beach. Some of the buildings/hotels are from Soviet era, because 1980 Moscow Olympics' sailing competitions were held here. Good for biking, jogging, water activities etc. If you don't have too much time, it's good to go first to Kadriorg Park and then Pirita,... More

I visited there in july. This is one of the main beach areas in Tallinn. The beach is a short walk from the Kadriorg palace. The easy to get with public transport by bus ( n: 1A and 8 ) from Viru bus terminal.

I visited there in autumn. Since it was before snowfall I could enjoy walking in the sandy beach stretch spanning more than 4km. Nice view.

In good weather Pirita has a lot to offer. You can walk/jog in the beach or promenade. You can rent a rowing boat or a sup board etc. Also sometimes they have a bonfire at night so works as a pre party or other chilling.

The beach is a short walk from the Kadriorg palace. It has nice panoramic views of the bay and the old center of Tallinn. We also have seen kiiking competition, local swinging sport which was nice to watch.

This is one of the main beach areas in Tallinn. This means that during summertime it can be noisy, have tons of people and not the best and cleanest swimming water. But these are really the only cons of the place. Throughout Pirita there're many green areas and it mostly has a segregated area for pedestrians and cyclers. There're also... More

Wonderful beach nearby the Pirita Spa hotel was peaceful and clean spot. There wasn't lot of seaweed which witness that the maintainance of the beach is high. Overall it indicates that Tallinn is a place to spend beach holidays.

Pirita is really clean and long sandbeach about 5 km from Tallinna. We stayed on new beachhotel Pirita apartments & Spa. It´s straight on the beach (better location than old Pirita Spa hotel). On July there were a lot of people, but still it was nice and restful place. It´s also good beach for children to swim because it´s so... More

On a beautiful summer day you will not be lonely on this beach. Immensely popular with both locals and tourists. As a result, one might want to be a little cautious, pacing in the sand and sea water. One of us was unlucky to step on a sharp object while in the water. They don´t have sunbeds for rent, so... More
