    Nice afternoon
6 floor museum, looks small but isn’t. At the top is a cafe, but i didn’t take anything from there. The floors are divaded to different ways of powering a boat, e.g. wind, steam, oil, …

    Fat Margaret has a Terrace
At one of the main entrance portals of the Old Town, enjoy a well curated exhibit of Estonian sea culture. Thoughtful for kids. And the best part: a fabulous rooftop terrace to soak in the harbor views and activity. Go towards the end of the day and stay leisurely on the terrace. Loved this!

    Great couple of hours
One of the best museums we have been to abroad as it was very interactive and kept your interest.Great for kids too as there was lots of stuff for them to do and all the children we saw there were enjoying getting involved. For all the exhibits it was possible for you to change the screen to a wide choice of languages. The shipwreck and story behind it was very interesting Cost 15 euros and well worth the money.

    Great views, below average exhibition.
The tower itself is a beauty. The exhibition, however, was not worth the fee. The ship wreck was interesting and nice to see, and the cellar floor exhibition was nice. The exhibition on the upper floors isn't that interesting to others than kids and ship enthusiastics. The roof floor is, however, definetely worth the visit. Even though the cafe wasn't open, the views from the top are simply beautiful.

A lot of interesting information about the history of Estonian seafaring and fleet. Plenty of engaging activities for the children of 5-8 years old.

This is a nice looking wide building, which also houses the Maritime museum.
While you can easily skip the museum, the quirky tower does provide some lovely photo-ops.
