This is supposed to be one of the highlights of Tallinn, but the interior is disappointing (unless perhaps you climb the tower for which there is a charge).

There is no shortage of old churches in old Europe. I don't want to say this is just one more, but it's character may make it unique among its peers. A popular tourist attraction but it is still used as a place of worship.

Definitely would recommend climbing the 258 steps to the tower if you physically can. Did not find it that difficult. The views are spectacular!

You have to walk up a narrow spiral staircase (like very many of these old church towers)... and mind the people coming in the opposite direction you need to squeeze past each other :-) But at the top is a view of Tallinn that is...More

Amazing 360 view of Tallinn once you get to the top. The steps aren't terribly difficult but I wouldn't suggest it for someone who has stability issues or cannot walk long distances (there isn't many resting places on the way up). Definitely worth the 3€

The climb up the church tower is well worth the time and energy. The steps are relatively uniform and there is space to pass people who are going the opposite direction. There is a nice stopping point about half way up to rest. Once at...More

Great views of the old city of Tallinn! Wonderful opportunity for taking photos! But remember it is a long way up the spiral staircase to the top!
