An attractive little museum setting out to answer the question of what it means to be Estonian with a variety of engaging and interactive displays in Estonian and English. Clearly there's a strong political line about nationhood coming through here and the museum is perhaps...More

This was too new to be in our guide book but was good for an hour and a half or so. It was well laid out in an interesting old building and gave a good overview of Estonian history as well as some quirky bits...More

Well laid out, really interesting and more informative than any other museum or similar nearby. If you only have time for one, this is it.

This is an interesting museum with some fine exhibits. The best are about the guild history. Some of the reviewers failed to go downstairs where the best exhibits are. The entry to the downstairs is not that obvious, be sure and find it.

This was the best of the museums we saw on our first day using the Tallinn Card, and we visited four of them. It had a fun, light-hearted approach to Estonian history, which made a nice change from some of the stuffier museums in the...More
