Most buildings surrounding the town square have been converted to souvenir shops and cafes other than the old pharmacy. The facade remained unchanged and was great for photography. This square can get very crowded with large tour groups. Perhaps evening will be better.

This is a lovely little square that's always bustling with people. It's lined with cafes so a good place to sit and watch the world go by. It had a lovely market one of the days we were there.

Very large town center surrounded with restaurants and shops. It is always busy with tours and costumed restaurant employees trying to get customers.

In the middle of old Tallinn, just a walking distance from any place in old town, surrounded by coffee shops and restaurants and they have a small market during the day.

The square is always filled with lots of people. During our visit, there were many market stalls selling a wide range of wares.

The town hall square is the center of everything - during weekend, one can find performance on stages, markets, food, and shopping all over the place (food and shopping are always there). The markets tend to be cheaper than the shops around. A pair of...More

Hi. Could anyone recommend a hotel room in the old town square for 2 adults and 3 kids? Preferably something with some character and good views of the town square. Cheers
