The Epic Bar Crawl Tallinn

108 reviews
Enjoy a night out in Tallinn with an insider guide who introduces you to the city’s nightlife like a local. Get to know your fellow partygoers at the first bar where you’ll have a warm-up drink and play drinking games to break the ice. Then continue the bar crawl to at least two more bars, each chosen nightly depending on what’s going on around town. A welcome shot at each bar and entrance to a nightclub are included.

The Tallinn old city hall has some nice works of art inside, information about the city and building history. Most of the spaces in the building are empty, and there isn't so much to read about - after taking pictures you'll finish the tour in less than an hour.

Avoid the overpriced and mediocre food but this is a good place for a drink in the sun watching the World go by.

They have done a great job at renovating and preserving this Town Hall from 1404, the only surviving Gothic Town Hall in Northern Europe! There is a lot of medieval art, furniture, items in use in those days, and recreations of the various rooms used here hundreds of years ago. I went up to the attic too, where there were display boards and a few items on display. Apparently there is a good view from the roof as per guidebook reports, but maybe it was closed when I visited as I did not see any way up there. I had a 24-hour Tallinn Card which covered most sights. I was in Tallinn on a 9-hour stopover on a Norwegian Getaway 9-day Baltic Cruise during mid-August 2019. Rick Steves "Scandinavian & Northern European Cruise Ports" Guidebook was a great help and this sight was part of the self-guided "Tallinn Walk" in the book.

Gorgeous and imposing building, the square outside is also huge and provides a break from the tiny streets across old town. The hidden gem here is the taverna underneath!
