This jumble of 14th- and 15th-century architecture with its medieval walls, needling spires and twisting, cobblestone streets is also the site of many of the city's important historic attractions and museums including the House of the Brotherhood of the Blackheads, St. Catherine's Guild and the 15th-century Guildhall that now houses the History Museum.

Spent a few happy hours exploring the old town with my husband. It wasn't as big as we expected, but was just as magical. Be sure to climb the hill up to the viewing platform for a great panoramic view of the city.

Wonderful little old town that is just small enough not to get lost and big enough not to get bored either. Lots of small streets to wander along. And plenty of cafes and restaurants to stop in, when it starts raining for example.

A must to see. Had a 4 hours walk around. If it hadn't been so windy and cold I could have spent more time in the bright sunshine. A lot to see. Christmas market with glögg!

A visit to Tallin Old Town is a must and especially in December when this old Hansa town is decorated for Christmas with good taste. Especially the Christmas market in the Town Hall Square is breath taking.

The Old Town is very beautiful! We ate spiced almonds from a vendor and had a great time looking at the lovely buildings and going into the little shops. Definitely a must see.

Great architecture. Full of atmosphere. Nice shops and lots of restaurants. Cobblestone streets and mysterious courtyards. Could have spent longer exploring. Super place to visit for a few days.

Nice shops bars and restaurants, friendly people, really well-preserved buildings. You can spend hours just wandering around, sustained by a glass or two of Glogg (mulled wine) with perhaps a shot of Vana Tallin if you start to get really cold !
