The streets, the buildings are wonderful. The town square is very beautiful. The whole environment is very calm. The buildings and streets are well maintained. We have shops, cafes, restaurants. We can walk quietly through the streets. There is time for everything. The only contra is The Christmas Market has nothing to do with Christmas. In the summer half a... More

Tallinn Old Town is both: an open air museum and up-to-date place to relax, shop, dine, chill. Very multidimensional sigh-seeing: full of history but also alive heart of the town.

A really beautiful old square that is transformed into a Christmas winter wonderland in November-December. You can buy strong mulled wine from several little stands in the square. The stuff everyone is selling is really over-priced but it's fun to window shop.

As someone who's fascinated by medieval times, this place is magic - and this is written by someone who lives 2minutes away from a castle where there's a huge medieval fair every year. The stores, restaurants, hotels, pubs, etc, will also... More
