This market in Tallinn is not only a great place for fresh fruits and vegetables but also for meat and fish. Excellent offering and variety for all tastes. There are many places to eat or take away too. We read liked it.

Not a bad place but food areas were not so clean and prices in market are quite high. Worth a short visit

Even cats and dogs admire that place

If you do not know nothing about Estonian food or ,,street cafeteria style,,. Then welcome- that place will offer it. I visit Baltijaama market mostly because of my cat, because he eat only fresh meat and from special farmer. So if my cat say- there is the best and purest food, then it is there!

Amazing diversity

This is an eclectic mix of street food, market stalls and a supermarket along with antiques and vintage clothing. I could spend hours here.

A real experience
Feb 2020
Just a few minutes walk from L'Ermitage hotel, just a minute or so behind the Train station. A mass of market stalls and shops selling anything and everything. Sweet shops, craft stores, a huge Flea market crammed with antiques, street food of all flavours, meats, cheeses, fruit and vegetables, you name it they've got it. Clothes stalls, furniture, shoes, bags, etc etc. Well worth a visit. Go on, give it a go....

Track down this Market!
Aug 2019
Really recommend the Balti Jaam Market with a modern design. The variety of little booths and occasional food trucks provide a breakfast or lunch opportunity for everyone! Lovely selection of beautiful seasonal fresh vegs, herbs, fruits and a big inviting sections of meat/fish. If you want to get inspired just wander around this market. On the top floor you find an unexpected treasury. Fine handcrafted goods and Eastern European antique pearls that are not easily found in Western Europe. The top floor also contains a small beer brewery with a terrace that includes a nice view over the area.

GREAT PLACE TO VISIT
Jan 2020
A fascinating covered market with everything from fine cuts of meat and sausage and veggie food to artifacts from the Soviet era and hand-crafted clothes and gorgeous traditional knitwear. A taste of the real Estonia and a must for visitors.

Upstairs is even better
Sep 2019
The main floor is typical food market for the most part, but upstairs a lot of "collectibles" and clothes and such. Good way to spend an hour in the neighbourhood.
