We really enjoyed our bike tour on electric bikes on a Sunday morning in September. Our tour guide Thomas took us out of the centre and along the coast, showing us the Olympic park, the concert auditorium, the passage of remembrance and so much more. He stopped regularly and told us a little of the history of Estonia which was very interesting. I thoroughly recommend the bike tours a a way of seeing parts of Tallinn that you wouldn’t normally visit, and learning about the region.

Our guide, Siim (Simmon), took us to places not frequented by many tourists, a lot of history and details of Estonian culture. It was a fun and educational time. I recommend it to people who want an alternative.

Ideal for those wanting to explore beyond the old town walls. The equipment was in good condition and a helmet is available if you want one. The tour was mainly along designated cycle routes with a few diversions around the obligatory road works. I would have preferred a slightly longer route to capture a few other areas worth of seeing and chatting about. Still, the tour was very good, fun and entertaining.

Knowledgable guide Thomas, small group, bikes ok, adequate speed and distance would recommend for a flavour of Tallinn..

Learning about Tallinn by bike

Very informative tour about the history of Estonia and Tallinn. Also saw a number of the key sites. Would definitely recommend this to others.

Disappointing!! This tour did not tell us anything of the history of Tallin prior to 1918. It was very disappointing not to go into the Old Town and learn more about the old buildings there and their history. It was a very wet day but we were taken along the coast where the wind and rain were terrible. We would have thought they may have looked at changing the route to suite the weather.

Thank you for the feedback. We do not ride in Old town much, because it is sometimes very crowded, only cobblestones. Old town is good for walking tours. Sometimes it is raining and then we provide the rain ponchos and also do stops under shelters. The route is easy riding and includes most of stops worth seeing in center and North-East of Tallinn.

We really enjoyed our morning on the tour. Excellent way to see parts of the city we wouldn’t have stumbled across ourselves and matched with really interesting history. Our guide was kind, professional, and really knew his history. He shared the right mix of info and always had more answers for people in the group. Really recommend this tour for those visiting Tallinn!

My wife and I wish to take a 10 day bike tour of Estonia. We would like help planning a self-guided route, renting bikes, and having a service to transfer our packs (baggage) from lodging to lodging. Please advise whether you offer this service and whether you have e-bikes available.

Hi We have a lot of self-guided options in our website (listing name and tallinn would solve the problem). Please find it from the web as in tripadvisor no websites mentioning is allowed and TA only wants to sell and make money, they don't care much about connecting customers to suppliers. They even removed our website address and contacts from the listing and gave no reason or explanation why the did it but for small businesses it is quite clear. We do have e-bikes available and also self-guided tours and also some of them have luggage transfer options.

We will be in Tallin as part of a cruise and would like to join the organized bike tour. Is the ride difficult in terms of riding on cobblestones and dealing with crowds? We would appreciate any info regarding the actual riding conditions. I do need a bike with hand brakes as opposed to coaster brakes. Thanks for your help!

Sorry this answer is probably coming too late to help. In and around the old city there are cobblestones but everywhere else is fine. There is a really good bike path going along the coast which is flat and easy and pretty. I'm pretty sure that the bike I had definitely had hand brakes.
