This museum is located in the impressive Baroque palace built by Tsar Peter the Great of Russia as a summer residence. It is the only museum in Estonia devoted to early European and Russian art.

The interior of the building gives you as much as the art. Especially the main hall with its unique interior is very impressive.

We had a combined ticket for three Kadriorg Museums: Kumu, Kadriorg Art Museum, and Mikkel Museum. It costs 22 euros and is valid for one year.

It can be too much to visit all three museums in one day because you have to explore also the beautiful park. We did Kumu in February and now it was time for the other two museums and also the park when it was at its best.

After walking the palace grounds, I ventured in to see the museum. The entrance fee when I visited was $6.50€ and well worth it. Its a beautiful building and the artwork is also interesting. A great compliment to visiting this museum is to also visit the Peter the Great House, where Peter the Great lived while building Kadriorg Palace. The also have small little restaurant where you can grab some food and beverages; I opted to have a refreshing beer after visiting the museum.

Spent the afternoon looking around this palace which is now an Art Museum, the building is Regal and the garden is stunning. The art in the building is amazing, and well worth the visit, they change the art around for different exhibitions so you can visit more than once and see different art.

Just amazing. The buildings, the paintings, the effort gone in to building a "small summer palace" is just amazing.
