Beautiful and peaceful
Aug 2019 • Couples
Beautiful park with small details, beautiful ponds and some koi (?) fish swimming there. Loved the little bridges as well.

Peaceful
Aug 2019
A small peaceful corner of a bigger park, essentially it is a lake surrounded with different trees and stones. It is very beautiful harmonious place, pleasing to the eye and excellent for quiet walk in the morning. There is fish living in the lake, so children could feed it.

Japanese garden free to enter
May 2019 • Solo
I followed signs to the Japanese garden when I was in Kadriorg park. When I arrived, I found that I could just walk in. There is a lake in the middle of the garden that is very scenic. There garden is small, but it is a nice area to walk around.

Lovely small garden
May 2019 • Friends
The small Japanese Garden in Kadriorg Park is definitely worth a visit. On Friday evening in May it was not crowded. It’s probably more beautiful later in summer when all the flowers are florishing. Great place for a romantic walk.

Just a small lake surrounded by some trees. Absolutely zero value from touristic perspective and shall nit be intended at all.

An oasis of calm in Kadriorg Park
Nov 2017 • Solo
The Jaapani Aed (Japanese Garden) is located in a remote corner of Kadriorg Park. It can be reached by walking the straight path from Kadriorg Castle towards Russalka monument and then taking a small path to the right. I visited twice in different seaons and I was virtually the only person around. The atmosphere is quite calm and relaxed, contemplative I might say. A nice place to cherish some quieter moments.

Part of Kadriorg, oasis of calm
Aug 2017 • Solo
A small and new park on the edge of Kadriorg. Simply a piece of calm. It's mainly completed, but needs some finishing touches. Nice place for a walk, see some birds and sit on the benches.

Trying to be a Japanese garden, but lacking the feeling
Aug 2016 • Friends
There are elements which tries to make it a Japanese garden, but does not succeed in it very well. There are Japanese elements, but they are spread into too large area. If they would be in a tighter area, the atmosphere would be more Japanese, or the park of this size would need some more elements. Some dark wood and bambu. As a "normal" park, it is pretty.
