near Toompea Castle
Oct 2019
The Office of the President of the Republic of Estonia is near the Toompea Castle as well as the Parliament building of Estonia. My photo shows only the Parliament building.

Elegant Palace Situated Behind Kadriorg Palace and a Short Walk from KUMA
Jun 2019
While en-route to the KUMA, I noticed a limousine with (I believe) the Croatian Flag drive by quickly. As I continued to walk, I noticed to my left a crowd gathering. This is where the limousine had turned. Being a curious tourist, I ventured to where the crowds were and it appears I got to observe a state visit as the individuals got out of the vehicle and were greeted by what appeared to be the Estonian President who walked with the Croatian President and introduced those in attendance; there was a military band in formation and after they played and the dignitaries entered the palace, the military marched off. It was definitely an interesting experience. It was amazing to me how close one could be to the presidential palace as I'm used to fences, guards, etc., to keep the public a distance away.

Pretty building
Jul 2019 • Family
We could t really get inside so we had to settle for being the annoying tourists that take photos of the two guards at the front.

Beautiful building though.

Ceremonial Guards but you can still get close
May 2019 • Friends
It was amazing that we could get close to this building. No gates just 2 ceremonial guards out front. Apparently the president lives in her own house in town but works out of this building.

Kevin & Jane’s Tallinn walk about

We came across this impressive looking building when visiting the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. It turned out to be the President’s Office and although we couldn’t go and look inside, the exterior and small gardens were good to see. The area / Street’s around were also interesting.

Admire the building from the outside
Jul 2018
This is a lovely building in Kadriorg Park. However, you cannot go inside. You can admire the building, take a picture of the guards, and then move on to the other attractions in the park.

“Pink building”!
Jun 2018 • Couples
This pink building located in Toompea Hill is the Office of the President of Estonia. Very pink, simple in design and very official. Surrounding the grounds is a very active tourist street, the Nevsky Russian Church (“onion tops”) the castle and other landmarks and attractions. It is a very distinctive looking building except for its pink color. I’m sure there is an historical story about the color, but I unfortunately don’t know what it is. I did nit try to go in and look around, so I can’t comment on the interior. Worth a visit, if only to check out the surrounding attractions!

Much significance
Jun 2018 • Couples
The office manages the domestic and foreign communications of the President, information exchanges with media, the public and other stakeholders, prepares legal acts and fulfills other tasks for the President. However, the President does not reside here. When we were there we managed to see the changing of the guards of honor. The blue, black and white flag of Estonia was flying on top of the building.

Impressive Building
Sep 2017 • Couples
A newer building, it was built to resemble the original Palace that is located just lower down the hill. This is the home and Office of the Estonia President, although our guide mentioned that she does not reside here.

We walked in from the road and wandered around the front taking photos. They have a couple of guards by the entrance, who were not concerned. Really low key security.
