Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It could be bigger, cleaner and fancier, but being honest, for the one-man-enterprise it is fantastic. Really big collection of venomous snakes, fantastic iguana Frida who is happy to be pet. If you are ready to listen, owner will share with you tons of fascinating information about the creatures. Seasoned with good dark humour.

I really enjoyed my visit, the hosts were friendly and I'm glad I found reptile breeders in Estonia! Very cozy place (if you are a reptile fan of course), had a chance to pet the iguana and watch her eat, ha dle a ball python, take a lot of pictures etc
The owners have quite a few poisonous snakes as well which I find very fascinating!
Definitely worth visiting x

The Parnu Mini Zoo is a must-visit place, largely due to the informative and caring zookeeper lady. She welcomed me warmly and showed me around, educating me about the animals' behavior, diet, and habitat. The zookeeper lady even allowed me to feed and pet some of the animals and answered all my questions with enthusiasm. Her passion for animal care and conservation efforts was evident and made my visit both fun and educational.

Interesting and very educational. Was able to touch and hold some of the animals. Host was the best part of the tour with great humor in stories about animals. Very entertaining. Only drawback was animal cage glass could be cleaner for better picture taking. Otherwise totally recommend to stop by and visit this place.

Loved that the place had many different species for such a small zoo. We could hold the snakes and learn some interesting facts about them too. However, the habitats could’ve been cleaner and taken better care of. There was also a strong smell of alcohol coming from the owner and his humor was rather unpleasant, making me extremely uncomfortable. Sadly wouldn’t visit again.

What a great, interesting experience in Pärnu! Peeter, the owner is very knowledgeable and tells interesting stories about his reptiles. Also, he must be the funniest Estonian out there! Attentive to his guests, and is always friendly and welcoming.

Excellent owner, who was full with optimism from the first look. Gave us funny tour with interesting story of each reptile. Somebody may say that there was nothing to see, but it's mini ZOO, live over it. Gave us chance to take snake to play with, in same places for that asking huge money, but here it's just good hospitality.

Visited the place on a super hot early morning. A bit weird system for cashing (the owner just hands around both cashing and giving a tour for visitors at the same time). BUT he was very friendly, lots of knowledge about the different species. Felt a little bit sad for the animals whose closures were quite small and barren. With a little bit of window washing, planting of flowers and other enrichment - could be more impactful.

Did also get to hold the snake though interacting with exotic pets is something I usually don’t do because of their bad treatment behind closed doors. However this snake seemed healthy and friendly, not stressed at all.

Overall interesting small zoo to visit. But I was unpleasantly surprised by the service. The owners were pretty attentive to the customers before us. But said no word to us at all. No information about animals , no guiding. Just totally ignored us. Based on the reviews of this zoo, I was waiting for at least some attention. Base on the pictures of other customers, they even allowed to touch some snakes. We were only customers most of the time there and were totally ignored. So we felt ourlselves as unwelcomed guests. I think the reason of this ignore is that we were speaking Russian with my daughter, which maybe they are not familiar to or does not want to speak. But I do speak Estonian almost at native level,so I could switch the language easily.

We went here this weekend. I have to say that the place is quite sad. Some animals live in very bad conditions and almost all in far too small conditions (see photo). I left with a sad feeling.. at least I try to get that one Animalian into even better living conditions through some organization myself.
