Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I am now trying to rethink how to rate statues. Should the rating be based on what is worth going out of the way for. Should the rating be based on artistic value? On historical value? If a statue creates an opportunity for a guide to tell a story should that elevate the rating or importance of the status? Does the importance of the story or person affect what a rating of a statue should be? If the same exact status was for a different person would you rate it differently? I realize its probably some mixture of each of these.

To me this status was a nice piece of art to look at for less than 5 minutes on a walk or bike through a street I would have been on anyway. What is my current thought on an excellent statue - something like the Warsaw Uprising monument in Poland or the Freedom monument in Riga (assuming the scaffolding is taken down).

This statue done in full size (of an estonian writer i guess) is a nice ingredient on tha walking street in the center of Pärnu. It seems like it was made just for taking photos.

It was nice to get to know this great person of Estonian history. Also a good chance to take pictures besides him as a souvenir.

I'm not claiming that you go out of your way for this, but it is a really nice statue (and photo opportunity) and brought this character to my attention in a way that no plaque or history book would do.
