Good place to start your visit

The tourist information center has many brochures and the attendant was very helpful. When i arrived in Haapsalu i started walking to this place but unfortunately it was closed for lunch at 11 am, a little surprising as it only opened its doors at 10 am. On the way back to catch my bus i found it open and had a chat with a rather pleasant guy who offered lots of advice. Fortunately i had seen all the important sights in town and did not miss anything.
