This is a modern ,well designed ,medium sized Museum. Nice costume collection. Not much shown in terms of fine arts and recent history however.

The artifacts selected for exhibition were most appropriate to the story line, and the audio-visual programs on the second floor were fascinating. The room settings put life in rural Lithuania in context with the artifacts. Well Done!

In this museum you could find some things from XIX century lithuanian life : imitations of rooms with beds, furniture and other stuff. There is also some coins and art pieces, but mostly it looks quite boring, it could be more interactive.
