Went on a rainy day with my 11 year old niece, who ripped through the museum in about 10 minutes. You need to have patience to read the iformation boards, which seem to be well prepared. The pyramid of pennies was cool.

The money museum is not a major sight in Vilnius, nor does it claim this title. But to say that is a special museum, let alone worth a visit, goes a bit too far. It is more something for when you have some time left...More

We loved this place, a really walk through time from the first currencies ever used to the current financial state in the world. Display of the record breaking million coin pyramid was great!

Interesting display of Lithuanian money, Euros and other currencies. Good way to spend a spare half hour or so, my partner played with all the interactive stuff.

Very nice exhibition covering the history of money. Excellent exhibits and short enough descriptions also for people who are not interested in numismatics. And all for free!

Placed just in the beginning of Gediminas Prospect, the museum is somewhat overlooked by many tourists, and that's a huge mistake. Museum has a huge display of money throughout the history and different geographies.
