Very small castle but still worth a visit. Its a great example of a medieval castle. Won't take you that long to show yourself around.

In nice weather there's no nicer picnic spot than the benches at the top of the drty moat. These benches run right around. The tower also houses an informativ emuseum if the weather isn't quite so nice. It's one of my favourite spots in Kaunas,...More

The museum it small. The most interesting part is definitely the basement. Very nice place to go on a spring/summer day.

beautiful medieval castle, right on the river. Can be underwhelming if you only see it from the outside - it's also smaller than anticipated. So only go if you've never seen anything like it

There's a nice castle in the center of Kaunas. We couldn't pass it without visiting. The exposition isn't huge, there's a heating inside, the staff is friendly, the entrance fee isn't high (2 euro). Good place for visiting if you have free 40min-1hour..

A beautiful spot at the confluence of Kaunas’ two main rivers. Although partly rebuilt it looks spectacular. Wheelchair access all around but not inside.

The Tower has four floors full of stuff to explore, from medieval torture instruments in the basement to a courtroom to an arts exhibition- not to forget the activities you can get involved in and the great view of the city and the river.

Kaunas seems to use the castle's red bricked walls and round house as it's mascot. When I visited it seemed to be closed but it was pleasant to walk around in the snow - it was a wintery February day! There does not seem to...More

I would call it a tower, not a castle. In my opinion, the exhibitions aren't interesting, even tho we had a tour guide. By the way, the guide wasn't very polite - it seemed like he wanted to finish the tour as fast as possible,...More
